The hard bop style coalesced in 1953 and 1954, paralleling the rise of rhythm and blues. Definitely should be on your watch list or RSS feed reader. I mean, after all he was a serious/hardcore businessman. Owner Robert Stevens says he serves the coldest beer and the best barbeque in town, plus free popcorn. Never ego-driven or spotlight-hungry he became a quiet but enormously influential mastermind behind every aspect of TECHNO's evolution. It may seem odd to consider this moment in time as a ‘golden age of the blues,’ but in some ways it is exactly that.

King, also straddled the blues and R&B genres. Just like any other style, Experimental Progressive Metal has a few defining moments that have changed the rules for its sub-genre for years to come.
