After this period he began perfecting the bassoon and made his first instrument in 1951. Unlike the trumpets or other instruments of the brass family, in which the airstream passes through the player's vibrating lips directly into the air column, the flutes are sounded by directing a narrow stream of air against the edge of a hole in a cylindrical tube. Absolutely the finest classical saxophone ever made. It plays with a gorgeous sound and comes with a balance hanger and very sassy red Marcus Bonna case. When you blow across the top of the bottle, the stream of air from your lips can be deflected up or down by the expanding and contracting air in the bottle.

New nickel plate to some keywork, new pads and corks from our own shop in Wichita. It has an excellent fingering chart, a good section on reeds, a section on how to form the correct embouchure, a list of graded solo literature, a section on the correct performance posture, etc. For two full years, we will repair or replace (whichever in our estimation is the more advisable), any pads, corks, springs or other parts required, at no charge to the customer.
